Schedule Update: There are some important changes happening to next week’s schedule! We will have new classes and new instructors. I’m excited about the variety we will be offering–especially if you have been tired of me!

Health tip: How are your eating habits? Have you been able to set at least three guidelines you would like to follow through for a healthier lifestyle, and to achieve your fitness goals?

I’m generally pretty good throughout the day. My food choices are great, I tend to do intermittent fasting, I don’t overeat…but when the lights start going down…

Around 7pm I feel like I deserve a treat. My mind tends to play tricks on me and says: “Go ahead, eat something sweet. You deserve it” And I know if I start eating something sweet, either a lollipop, a fruit bar, or a handful of granola… I will not stop eating anytime soon. That’s one of the reasons why I don’t buy junk food. If it is there, I will surely eat it until there is nothing left. 

What are your weaknesses? Do you have a hard time controlling the amount of food you eat? Or is the biggest problem when choosing what to eat? It is very important to have at least one healthy meal a day. The human body needs good fuel, like nutrients and minerals from whole foods, and fiber to help cleanse the digestive system. 

Understanding what tends to hold you back with your fitness goals is the first step. Trying to do something about it is the second. Succeeding it is not easy, but if you don’t try, you will never know.
