MAKE IT HAPPEN DURING THE HOLIDAYS

All my fitness suggestions are to induce you to achieve wellness. Exercise, and eat healthy to FEEL good. Looking good is a consequence! 

Healthy tip -Hello! How was your day today? Did you start the day with healthy choices? One of my main issues with fitness is: whenever I step out of line, I tend to keep on going on that same track. For example: I tend to behave very healthy until 5pm… But after that… 🤔

Here follows some suggestions on how not to give in, and stay strong in your fitness journey,
1) Drink water. 
2) Go for a walk outdoors. At a Park, or close to nature if possible. Breathe some fresh air.
3) Foam roll. 
4) Workout hard (I’m setting up my classes to become on demand, so you will have more options at a near future).
5) Meditate. Tara Brach website has amazing options for free. She is my favorite. Click here to access her website.
6) Shovel snow! One of the best workouts ever! Highly functional, and the cold weather will give you an extra kick of wellness.
7) Take some nice, and calming breathes. You might be anxious, not hungry. Are you an emotional eater?
8) Call a friend (or myself) and talk about it. Once you speak about it, that will help you understand the root of the issue, and adjust.
9) Snack on something that will shut down the hunger . Suggestions: a couple of Brazilian nuts. Olives. Coconut. An egg. A small piece of steak or chicken…
10) You definitely should avoid cookies, chips, bread, candy, popcorn, ice cream… Because those will actually increase your appetite. 

So the plan is to stay on top of your fitness goals until the end of the year. We will have two, maybe three ‘cheating’ days, that I will guide you through in how keeping the ‘damage’ at a lower level.
