Keto Breakfast Options

Ok! So we got the idea that in case you would like to bring your body to a high level of wellness, and promote a fat burning state as energy source, you should try to achieve ketosis. My best recommendations are: intermittent fasting (pushing the first meal for the furthest you can), and go for a “keto breakfast” option. It doesn’t need to be in the morning. Understand breakfast as breaking fasting at any time of the day.

As I mentioned yesterday, you would like to inhibit your body from using glucose as energy source. That’s the mean reason you would like to slow down in carbohydrates, and step deeper into healthy fat options. So for a keto breakfast, instead of bread, and egg, you could go for half avocado, with an egg inside. I know the picture is showing one full avocado, and two eggs. It is important to understand you shouldn’t exaggerate your portions.

My favorite keto breakfast option is: organic coffee with half spoon of raw butter, and half spoon of coconut oil. This is known as bulletproof coffee. So instead of adding sugar to the coffee to break its bitterness, you can use these two other options together, or in separate. The sugar in the coffee would trigger your hunger hormones, and ask for more food right away. The healthy fats found in the coconut oil, or at the raw butter, will shut down the hunger hormones, and make you feel full for longer.

For success into your keto journey is very important learning about carbohydrates, protein, and healthy fats. And what happens to your body, and your mind, after you ingest any of these options. I’m a highly anxious person, and it became clear to me how eating carbohydrates increase my anxiety, and the eager into not stop eating. Of course it is not easy stepping away from it, BUT… If it was easy… Everybody would do it, right? 🤔

Another good keto breakfast option is a mix of berries (these are fruits very low in carbs) with some chia seeds, hemp seeds, or pumpkin seeds sprinkled on top. I could recommend bacon, but I would need to talk about the importance of the source being pasture raised instead of farm raised…

Bone broth should be added as an option for keto breakfast as well. Homemade, or bought from a very trustful source. Not premade, and sold in a box. Definitely not.

Anyway! I hope I started opening up your mind. Take a look at the list bellow, and go for your grocery shopping this weekend! (Im very particular about the source being organic, pasture raised, wild caught, raw dairy… But you are our own judge. at the end is your decision)
