KETOSIS, AND INTERMITTENT FASTING

I keep on talking about intermittent fasting to induce the body to burn body fat as energy source. There is another wording for such: ketosis. What I have been trying to induce you to achieve is the ketosis state. When the body can’t rely on glucose (sugar) as energy source, and has no other way besides going after stored fat as energy source.

When that happens, when that click into ketosis happens, the results into fitness, and wellness, are unbelievable. You feel amazingly good, and you slim down a lot. One of my favorite parts is: you stop living after the expectation of your next meal… The focus shifts, and suddenly, you are in control of your eating habits.

So intermittent fasting is a way to get into ketosis. Besides getting in that state, you would like to stay there for the longest. And the way of doing it is to stay at a low-carb, high-fat diet. Yes, the opposite of what specialists have been saying for decades. Who should you believe? 🤔

My best advice is: why not trying to get into ketosis for yourself? Of course if you feel you don’t have much body fat to burn, the perspective into this shouldn’t be the same. Maybe for health, and wellness gains, making sure you don’t restrict yourself with the amount of food, but the food choices. Otherwise, if you feel you have considerable amount of body fat to be burned, and you would like to try something different… Why not?

For the upcoming days I will be following up with extra information about how to get into ketosis, and how to stay there. Tricks, what to eat, what to focus, and what to avoid. Let’s try to do this together? 🤔
