There are different was to approach health. Holistic health is mine!

In my opinion, holistic health is a mix of fitness, and wellness. You like, and enjoy the fitness results. But your main concern is using whatever is natural to the body, and environment, to become healthier. Because if you feel healthy, you feel good, and you look good. You are in a really good place…

Some people don’t believe in such. And I respect that. Many have approached me asking about fitness, and supplements, steroids, dieting pills… My answer is always very straight forward: I have done it, and I don’t recommend it. Supplements will get you bloated. Your body cannot absorb the chemicals in it. Creates inflammation. Steroids work at first, but whatever you are taking, your body will stop producing. Than you become dependent on it. It doesn’t matter what, that cycle doesn’t end well. Dieting pills… I will talk about this at another time. I feel very entitled to speak about it. I grew up with a mom hooked on those. 

Many have asked me about my approach as a mother (my son is a little bull). I’m always really proud to say he was born from normal birth, I breastfed him until 2 years old. I never gave him a pacifier. I never gave him formula. I always fed him good food, and kept him active, and social. Minimal screen time. Minimal medication (if any). Hardly ever he gets sick. He has no allergies. No asthma. Nothing besides A LOT of energy!

I just want to make clear that I don’t condemn other approaches to health. I respect that. I feel all of us should have the option, and the opportunity to do whatever we want to our own body. As long as we don’t hurt other people. Holistic health is what I do, what I believe, and what I practice everyday. You don’t have to buy into everything I say, but I’m pretty sure you can add a lot to your health by being more careful with what you eat. Exercising everyday. Lowering stress. Sleeping better. Living a healthier life…

Every time we will have someone different to talk about their own business, and how they can offer support for the group. Starting this Sunday, we will have Don Desroches, author of “Conscious Coupling”, relationship coach, and certified mediator for more than 10 years, Don will be talking about how to improve interpersonal relationships with the phases of communication, and blockages to each phase.
