Registration is now opened for teens indoor volleyball classes at Long Island City. Program will restart in September 12. Minimal age: 12 years old.
A new cycle of indoor volleyball classes for teenagers will start September 19. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:15pm to 8:45pm at Q301 Academy for Careers in Television at Long Island City. We currently work with four different levels: 1, 2, 3 and 4 (being 4 the most advanced).
Level 1 is the base for our programs. We work on teaching basic volleyball techniques and understanding of the game. New players or those that are not sure what level they belong should register for this group. Practices on Thursdays 7:15-8:45pm. Days: 9/21, 9/28, 10/05, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26. Level 2 is the next step. To enter this level the players have to understand the importance of communication, being in ready position, have achieved good reflexes and ball control. Level 3 will have practice on Tuesdays 7:15-8:45pm. Players now are getting to define their own position in court and learning different rotations such as 4×2 and 5×1, Days: 9/26, 10/03, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31. Fee of $195 includes six classes. Click here to register.

CHANGE IN PRICE – Unfortunately the permit to use the school gym has doubled its fee and we had to update the cost for our indoor programs. Six weeks of classes being one class a week now will cost $180 ($30 per class). This fee will expire on September 2nd. After the fee will become $200.
