Tony discovered volleyball late but has never looked back. He played on The Cooper Union club team in college. After college, he honed his skills in NYC adult leagues (NY Urban, Big City) and has been a setter and captain on many high level indoor teams for 20+ years, winning several division championships. Outdoors, he can be found scrambling on the Riverside Park and LIC sand courts. He has been coaching volleyball for several years, coaching gymnastics for over 7 years, and is able to break down complex skills into bite-size pieces for anyone to learn or improve on. He finds teaching kids and adults of all ages incredibly rewarding.

Coach Tony is currently teaching Teenager Level 1 on Thursdays 7:15-8:45pm at Q301 Academy for Careers in Television at Long Island City.
