Artem Vetrov is from Moscow, Russia. He has been playing volleyball since when he was 8 years old. It has been 14 years. “Volleyball has been with me for majority of my life. It has a special place in my heart and I am willing to share my love for this sport with my students!”, explains Artem. “I enjoy teaching volleyball and meeting new people, it makes me happy that more and more people are getting interested in such fascinating sport”.
Besides coaching, Artem’s volleyball career is still going on. He is playing Division 1 volleyball at FDU and dreaming about playing professionally again.
Nickname:
I don’t think I have a nickname as a coach, but in my team people sometimes call me “Rocket” because of my serves and spikes.
Good qualities:
Responsible
Attentive, trying to help everyone in the best way possible
Easy to communicate with, I do not bite, always ready to help or have a conversation
I believe that I am good at explaining and showing things, but you are to judge!
I think people find me funny, but I cannot confirm that!
Bad qualities:
Too attentive sometimes. I really want to help, but if you are here just for fun, it can get annoying a little bit.

Favorite skill to teach:
I like to teach spiking because usually people find it the most exciting thing, helps with stress relief!
Best advise towards volleyball:
Be consistent. It is applicable to anything in life. If you want to improve in something, you have to do it regularly!
