HOLISTIC MENTAL HEALTH

This is pretty much what this program is. My approach is holistic, and I do provide mental, and physical health


Healthy tip -This is the main reason why I workout. My mental health. I do anything, and everything I can to feel good. Day, after day. Fasting, exercise, eat healthy, meditation, sex… Social interaction in any way I can. Enjoy outdoors, and fresh air. Ride my bike at a challenging way. Go through super intense workouts… Not by a coincidence that all of these same items support not only mental, but physical health as well.

Healthier you are, better you feel. Simple like that. And you just understand how good you can feel, after you feel it at first time. If you have never tried to go fasting for 18h or more, you have no idea what you are missing. Arranging your body to get into ketosis state is not easy, but the result is unbelievable rewarding. That is one of the best holistic mental health approaches I know. The fitness results are unbelievable.

I know some people feel scared of fasting. To me is easy to understand it, and step away from it. It is simple: if you don’t feel good with it, break it at anytime. But try it first. Make our last meal at 7pm, and eat only when is 2pm. That is a 18h fasting period, and please let me know if you try it. Make sure you will drink enough water through the day, and don’t try to save energy. Keep on moving like any other day of the week.

What about exercise? This is what keeps me in check. And if I don’t feel good, I know a 20min run, or a good workout will do the job. I really believe on it, and know I need it! Especially nowadays when we can easily not leave the house at all, why not working out 3x in a day? Sometimes I might struggle with my eating habits, but exercising is never a problem.

Meditation… It used to be a struggle at first. For many years… But it became a necessity. A ‘treat’. I honestly believe that eating healthy, inducing your body into ketosis, and exercise will make you feel really good. But meditation is what will bring you above, and beyond at your mental, and physical health. Especially if you have posture issues, constant joint pain, or if you are a really tight person. Meditation will fix it all.

Do I have meditation classes at this program? Yes, I do! Check my Body Alignment classes, or stop to think about what we do at the end of most classes? Lay down on the floor, breathe, relax, feel the body, stretch.. Or sometimes during the classes, when we workout and I talk about the muscles you should be feeling, about focusing on breathing, and connecting the body with the mind… Meditation, in my perspective, is the practice of being present, and being grateful for the opportunity of being right here, right now. Healthy, and alive. No trying to change anything. Worrying less, stressing less, and living more. 

This is what I persuade everyday. And hopefully I have been leading you in this same direction, Because we all need ways right now to stay focus, stay healthy, and stay positive. For our own mental and physical health. You are not alone, and we are never giving up…
