Fasting Food Vs Fast Food

Nope, I’m not suggesting any kind of fast food! I’m here to reinforce the options that will support shutting down your hunger hormones!

Fasting food… What do you understand by it? I will make a comparison here based on nutrients, and value. Living in NYC made me aware that you can find the best, and the worse money can buy. You can have a $1 pizza and get a soda for free. Or you can find places like The Alchemist Kitchen, who offers products like a 8z First Aid Infused Local Honey for $22.

Fast food versus fasting food… My understanding about food spins a lot towards value. It became cheaper to live off low quality products with very little nutritional value, like chips, cookies, soda, cereal, bread, pizza, pasta… McDonald’s Dollar Menu… Then buying organic, seasonal, local, and fresh produce including fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, and meat.

So imagine that $1 pizza… What kind of cheese, tomato sauce, or the ingredients added to the dole… How can than make it so cheap? If you were to make a homemade pizza yourself, how much would that cost? 🤔 I would definitely go for any kind of flour besides wheat. I would look into raw cheese, and I would certainly make the tomato sauce from scratch. I wouldn’t use canola oil, or any other vegetable oil, but a healthier alternative like coconut oil, avocado oil, or olive oil…

If you pay attention at my ingredients list, you can definitely come up with a fasting food pizza, instead of a fast food pizza. Something that is high in nutrients, it would sit well in your digestive system, and will not induce you to eat like a crazy person. It would be filled with nutrients, and would help shutting down the hunger hormones… 🤔

I could go on, and on with many other examples. A difference between a U$1 chocolate bar, and a $7 one. Chocolate is supposed to be healthy for you, if made out of CACAO as main ingredient. Loaded in healthy fats instead of sugar. The cheapest version will actually have high fructose corn syrup (or any other name the food industry tries to disguise it) as main ingredient. Followed by vegetable oils, fillers, flavor enhancers,, and COCOA. Understand the $7 one as a fasting food. The $1 option as fast food….

Hu: my favorite chocolate

When I look at people, I see some are not actually overweight, or obese. They look swollen. Around the waste, the arms, neck, and legs. I feel like is the body not being able to expel all the toxins found in food preservatives, flavor enhancers, or artificial ingredients the food industry creates in laboratories… Cheaper options than real food, so every item sold can guarantee higher profit margins.

These items are prepared to trick your brain into believing those chemicals taste sooo good! So you can buy more, and more, and they can profit more, and more. This is fast food. This i what they do. This is how they get your money. This is what I explain to my son when he asks for some kind of junk he sees at the market, or at the grocery around the corner…

Fasting food are high nutritional options. Found in healthy fats like avocado, coconut, olives, berries, nuts, grass fed steak, wild caught seafood, raw dairy, seasonal vegetables like broccoli, zucchini, eggplant, cauliflower… Flaxseeds, hemp seeds, chia seeds…

It doesn’t matter if you are persuading fitness, wellness, or health. Your food intake will determine the results you will achieve. Unfortunately it became extremely pricy, and in my opinion, health is the most valuable asset you can ever have….
