Join me for a full day of volleyball at Long Beach. I will be setting up two volleyball nets from 9am to 2pm (maybe staying a bit later). This is not a class. Just a hangout to enjoy the beach and play volleyball.
We will be setting up the volleyball nets by the entrance close to Edwards Blvd. It is the street that connects the LIRR station at Long Beach to the beach. Look for the nets between Edwards Blvd and Riverside Blvd.
There are LIRR trains leaving NYC at the following time frames: 7:42am – Penn Station 7:54am – Woodside 8:42am – Penn Station 8:54am – Woodside *** please confirm woodside schedule. Sometimes the station closes for maintenance.
I would advise to bring plenty of water, and snacks. There are cafes close by, but generally with huge lines. When buying your train tickets, there is the option of including the beach pass with a round trip at discounted rate. They charge $15 for entrance at Long Beach.
