The non profit Programs 4 All Kids is starting a new indoor season with a volleyball scrimmage to select players that will gain scholarships
Volleyball Scrimmage for teenagers for levels placement and scholarship will happen September 14th at Long Island City. “This scrimmage is not for beginners, but for players that have achieved some experience playing and want to train hard to conquer the next level” explains Louise Ganitis, who is ahead of the volleyball section of the organization.
The scrimmage for evaluation and scholarship will happen on September 14th from 7-9pm at Q301 Academy for Careers in Television in Long Island City. Minimal age is 12 years old. The drop in fee is $35. Click here to register.
The organization runs four different levels for the volleyball groups. These groups have practices and leagues that help players become more prepared for school and teams try outs.
“We are also looking into get the best out of our players to form teams to represent us in competitions”, explains Louise.
PRACTICES – After the scrimmage practices will start on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7-9pm at that same local, followed by Leagues that will start in October.
“At the scrimmage we will choose the players that will gain 25%, 50% and 100% scholarships based on their ball control, foot work, attentiveness and commitment to the sport” reinforces Louise.
