Free beach volleyball classes at Long Island City coming up! Tuesday September 5th. Kids 7-10 years old from 4-5pm. Click here. Teens above 11 years old: click here.
Both classes are focused at fundamentals. For teenagers at more advanced level programs will be offer on Thursdays 4:15pm to 5: 45pm.
At the week following the free classes we are starting with a six weeks cycle of beach volleyball classes as follows:
Kids 7–10 years old – Tuesdays 4:10-5pm – classes are fun, non stop, mixing up ludic games with the teaching of basic volleyball techniques and how to play a volleyball game. Days: 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/03, 10/10, 10/17. Discounted fee of $120 includes six classes and will expire August 27th. After fee will become $150. Click here to register.
Teens 11 years and up – Fundamental level 1 – Tuesdays 5-6pm – classes are focused on the basic techniques, building a solid base for the player to move forward with our next levels for indoors and beach volleyball (levels 2, 3 and 4). Days: 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/03, 10/10, 10/17. Discounted fee of $120 includes six classes and will expire August 27th. After fee will become $150. Click here to register.
Teens 13 years and up – Pre Intermediate levels 2 and 3 – Thursdays 4:15-5:45pm – classes are focused on players that have at least 6-9 months experience and have achieved good ball control based on proper technique, and understanding of the game. Days: 9/14, 9/21, 9/28, 10/05, 10/12, 10/19. Discounted fee of $120 includes six classes and will expire August 27th. After fee will become $150. Click here to register.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN VOLLEYBALL. If you dont have a ball let us know in advance. You can purchase a new one for $25 or borrow one for $5. Please Venmo Louise-Ganitis or Zelle (347) 456-4690. At notes add name of the player and day x time of attendance.
LOCATION – Sand court is located at Hunters Point South Park at Long Island City at Center Boulevard almost corner with 54th Avenue. In site there is water fountain, restrooms, and a Cafe. If you can’t find the court use a location app for Frank Ottomanelli’s Long Island City.
