What are the easy healthy eating habits you can incorporate for the upcoming week that will help you stay on track?
Healthy tip – How can you stay on top of your fitness game meanwhile facing the holidays? What are the easy healthy eating habits you can incorporate during the holidays, so you don’t gain too much weight before starting the new year? Don’t worry! I have a plan! A plan that I have put in practice many, many times when facing holiday seasons, birthday parties, thanksgiving feasts… These are easy healthy eating habits that will make you stay on track with your fitness, and wellness goals! Remember: all my guidelines are to make you FEEL good! Happy, optimistic, upbeat… Looking good, toned, healthy, attractive… These are side effects of these easy healthy eating habits you can incorporate at any time of your life. Once you FEEL how good you FEEL, and how good you LOOK… There is no step back! As long as you never give up on yourself! This is the plan: 1) You will postpone your first meal for the furthest you can. No snacks! I will allow a black cup of coffee, but no milk, neither sugar. Black. One cup. Organic if you can! Why not taking a nice walk to a good coffee shop, and treat yourself? With the coffee only. 2) You will workout in the morning. We have a 8am stretching class. Right after that you will; go for a light run, or a intense class. Here is the link of a 30min low impact cardio: make it happen! 3) Drink plenty of water through the day. Every hour if you can, A nice cup of water. Good source of water is a must! 4) Set the alarm at your watch. Every hour you will move. You will get into something. Walk around the block. Go for a sequence of 20 jumping jacks, 20 squats, and 20 push ups (use your knees if you have to. Three rounds if you are really into it). 5) If you feel hungry, you will drink water. Workout again. Foam roll. Get out of the house. But don’t break easily. Put a fight before you give up. 6) There is Lloyd’s class at 12pm. It is an intense class. Make sure you will not miss it. Do it for at least 20min. 7) Whenever you got to our breaking point… Let’s say it is around 2pm 😉 See if there is any snow left for some shoveling. It is the best workout option for now. Believe me when I say it! 8) Ok! You can’t hold back anymore. First you will go for a green juice. Celery or cucumber. Spinach or kale. Parsley or cilantro. Lemon or lime. After that you will give at least a one hour break, than you will eat something more substantial. Like 3 Brazilian nuts. Or a fistful of shredded coconut. Five olives. One broiled egg. Believe me: this will shut down our hunger hormones. As long as our hunger is not emotional 😉 9) Do you wanna go full force? 😉 Try to take a cold shower (lol) I swear I’m not kidding! Exposing your body to cold temperatures get your immune system stronger, and helps build brown fat, Try to read a bit more about it. It is exactly the kind of fat you would like in your body. AND you will feel AMAZING (look into the Wim Hof method. I did it for four winters in a row). 10) Now you are ready for your pre Christmas meal! Enjoy it! Try to not overeat. Taste different plates, engage in good conversations, drink a cup of water for every drink you have. Move around. Enjoy your health, your loved ones, and remember: all you are looking for is wellness.
