Imagine if every time you are working out, you feel strong, optimistic, and healthy. Not tired, not out of shape, not like you are torturing yourself… You feel proud for never giving up, and grateful for your body moving pain free. Or almost pain free… Is my suggestion some kind of body mind connection? 🤔
Yes, it is! That’s why I chose this picture. Body Mind Connection: our actions reflecting what is in the heart. A kiss, a hug, or a simple touch can transmit so much love. Now I wonder… How do you brush your hair? How do you soap your own skin? How do you feel when walking on the street? In a hurry? Worried? Lazy? Tired? 🤔
What about when going for a run, or at a group class? What is going on through someone’s mind? “I’m so out of shape!”. “I feel so heavy!” “People might be laughing at me…”. Imagine exercising with that mind set? That’s pure torture! Every minute would count like hours, and you wouldn’t wait for it to be over. How someone’s posture would look like? Shoulders inward, head down, dragging the feet like they are 100lbs each…
Now, imagine thinking, and feeling the opposite when working out: “I’m so proud of myself!”. “I’m never giving up!” “What is next?” “F this thing! If someone can do this, that’s me!”. That’s when I say: open up your chest, and embrace the challenge! Your head is up, your shoulders wide open, nice posture, and ready for the fight!
Body mind connection… Your body will expose how you feel. “Feel tired, and out of shape, and you will break easily. Feel empowered, and strong, and your body will respond to it”. It is all in your heart, It is all in your mindset. Do you wanna try it tomorrow?
