Teens Indoor Volleyball Tournament TONIGHT November 3rd from 7pm to 9pm at Academy for Careers in Television at Long Island City
Please don’t be late. Every player should be in the gym at 7pm, meet their team in the court and start warming up. Every team should be responsible for their own warm up. Games will start at 7:15pm.

Team A (meet at court 1) Julius (Eric), Judith Gimenez, Daniela Monar, Eleana Teologis, Heloísa Clicia, Aya Kinoshita
Team B (meet at court 2) Kendra Gonzalez, Tyler LizardI, Hudson Yeh, Kathleen Reinoso, Leah White, Stephanie Paixao
Team C (meet at Court 3) Chelsea Ondina, Jaylene, Brielle Duffy, Eliana (Nicoleta), Haylee Lizardo, Emily Alma
Team D (meet at Court 4) Kai Tong, Audrey Kasper, Elizabeth Kasper, Maya Moura, Valerie Palau, Maria Xiorou
INFORMATION ABOUT THE GAMES:
Tournament will be played at a round robin system as described below. Every game will last 25min and the winner will be decided under one set of 25 points. After the set is done and the winner is known games will run until the end of the 25 minutes.
Games 1 – 7:15 to 7:40pm / Court 1 team A x Court 2 team B / Court 3 team C x Court 4 team D
Games 2 – 7:45 to 8:10pm / Court 1 team B x Court 2 team C / Court 3 team D x Court 4 team A
Games 3 – 8:15 to 8:40pm / Court 1 team A x court 2 team C / Court 3 team D x court 4 team B
OVERALL TOURNAMENT RULES
We will follow overall volleyball rules not allowing net touches and double hits. Service if under head can be performed 3 feet inside of the court. Overhead service has to be performed behind the end line.
COACHES IN SIGHT
Coach Tony will be responsible for overall organization and communication. Coach Alison will be referring and assisting at Court 3 and 4. Coach Alvaro will be referring and assisting at Court 1 and 2. Coach Vicente will assist with warm ups, overall organization, pictures and videos. Please address to the coaches only when extremely necessary.
MEDALS AND TROPHIES
Right after the games are over at 8:40pm players, family and friends should group by Court 4 for the medals and trophies ceremony.
Medals will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. We encourage family and friends to take pictures.
Two trophies will be designated. One to the Most Valuable Player (the one that performs at best technical and tactical aspects of the game). And GARRA trophy for the player that tries the best, strongest will, and performs as a inspiring team player. These will be elected by the coaches.
