At our first practice for the Beach Volleyball at LIC we had a free class to set up the upcoming groups. Check it out:
April 2nd we will start with a six weeks cycle of Beach Volleyball at LIC. We are coming up with two groups: Fundamentals (for levels 1 and 2) and Intermediate (levels 3 and 4).
Levels 3 and 4 that have more ball control and understanding of the game will have practices on Sundays from 3:30-5pm (the last 30min for games). We will be working on forming teams withing the group and train them to compete at a 4×4 format.
Levels 1 and 2 will have practices on Sundays from 4:45pm to 6pm. This group will have the levels practice apart from each other, but at the same time. Level 1 will focus more on the fundamentals and learning about how to perform proper technique. Level 2 will practice more ball control and the understanding of where to pass the ball accordingly to the game.

Results:
Daiana – level 3 to 4 – good ball control, high level of alertness – a bit more practice and you are totally level 4
Laura – level 3 – ball control got way better throughout the class. Alertness is good. Keep practicing and you will catch up super fast
Mary – level 2 – great hustle after the ball. That is 80% of the game. Keep up and you will improve fast
Mattias – level 3 to 4 – very athletic, and man tend to catch up fast. Need to improve basics techniques (setting and spiking) but great hustle after the ball and alertness, Keep up and you will be level 4 fast.
Natalie – level 1 – you are very brave for stepping in at unknown territory and trying your best. We think you mproved a lot just in one class. We do hope you can keep on going so we can watch your growth together.
Jaylene – level 3 to 4 – amazing to see you growing into such a good volleyball player! Just a bit more ball control and court positioning and you are level 4
Emily – level 3 – same great qualities as Jaylene. The only thing is Jaylene puts more effort when hustling after the ball.
Janice – level 4 – great to have you back! Great hustling, ball control and understanding of the game
Daniela – level 2 – you have improved so much! Amazing to see your journey! Always good to have your positive energy around. Now the pathway is understanding more about where to position in court and connect the techniques you have been learning
Evelyn – Level 1-2 – we think you had great moments in the court. But lacks consistency a bit. We believe your journey is to stay active and make sure to touch the volleyball at least 3x a week. Think if you really want this!
Frances – level 1 – always a joy to have you in classes with us. We think your focus should be practicing at least 3x a week to get the ball rolling! With the classes or on your own!
Gillian – level 3 – always great to have you with us! You have become a solid player! Now it is just a bit more understanding of the game!
Hedwig – level 1 to 2 – we believe you will improve fast! Start attending classes and practicing on the side with your daughter!
Jie Yang – level 3 – nice to see you back! Great job! Just gotta make sure you are practicing at least 3x a week. With the classes or without it! Can you make it happen?
Marcela – level 4 – great to see how good you are at the sport! Don’t push it aside! Enjoy what you know use it as a tool to stay healthy!
Patricia – level 2 – we understand you were super tired yesterday! But we do hope you realize how much you are developing! You are not a beginner! It is up to you if you want to stay at the fundamentals level or step into the next level.
Sasha – level 2 to 3 – you are super athletic! Amazing to see how fast you caught up with the game. Think if you want to push it to the next level!
