Once someone told me: “repeating the same actions, and expecting a different result doesn’t make any sense”. 🤔
Healthy tip – How can you develop healthy eating habits? choose one little step as a start. One thing that you feel is achievable, and doesn’t demand much sacrifice. Examples:
1) Don’t eat candy for a week.
2) Drink only good source of water.
3) Break fasting with fruits.
4) Don’t eat any kind of fast food.
5) When cooking, switch vegetable oils for avocado, or coconut oil.
6) Buy pink salt only.
7) Switch your sweetener for stevia.
8) Stop using pre prepared dressings at your salad. Go for olive oil apple cider vinegar, and salt.
9) Eat half of an avocado a day.
10) Don’t keep at home what you know you shouldn’t eat,
Start implementing simple steps, start feeling the improvement, and keep moving into that direction, That’s how healthy eating habits are develop. It is a journey based on consistency, and persistence. Here is a list of “must do(s)” in your journey of developing healthy eating habits:
1) cut soda, or any kind of flavored soft drinks. These are seriously loaded with sugar, and it doesn’t matter if it is diet, light, or zero. The ingredients are harmful to your fitness, and wellness goals.
2) have at least one healthy meal a day. During lunch, or dinner, prepare a fresh salad with good ingredients. Greens assist in digestion, and helps bringing your body into the alkaline state.
3) every time you decide to eat something, think with yourself: is this assisting, or damaging my journey into fitness, and wellness?
4) don’t break easily. Put a fight before going after an unhealthy snack.
5) try intermittent fasting. Give a long period of time in between dinner, and first meal of the next day. This will induce your body to go for body fat when looking for energy source.
I know we are facing the holidays, and being away from your own environment, or having visits over makes everything a bit harder. Just don’t give up. Stay in track, adjust, and instead of starting with the wrong sources early in the day, push it for the latest you can. A healthy half day might balance a healthy unhealthy day!
Looking forward to seeing you this week again!
